Lauren Marchefka, FNP-BC, MSN, ABAAHP, CMHIMP

Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Anti-Aging Diplomate
Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider

Lauren’s health philosophy revolves around the fundamental belief that every aspect of our
body is intricately connected. In her practice of functional medicine, she blends evidence-based research and cutting-edge technologies to create a comprehensive treatment protocol based on root cause. She is passionate about integrative mental health and specializes in treatment of mood disorders, stress, traumatic brain injuries, hormonal imbalances, and nutritional deficiencies.

Lauren also has a background in research, having served as the medical monitor for a clinical
study focused on addressing PTSD and traumatic brain injury among military members. Her
expertise helped support the implementation of a protocol designed through quantitative
electroencephalography (q-EEG) guided magnetic resonance therapy (MeRt), a form of
customized transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).

Lauren is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with both a master’s and bachelor’s degree
in nursing from Duke University. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in developmental
psychology from the University of Michigan. Currently, she is pursuing her Doctor of Nursing
Practice (DNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) degrees at Florida
State University. Lauren is a diplomate in anti-aging and regenerative medicine, board-certified
by the American Academy of Anti-Aging. In 2022, she completed a certificate in Psychedelic
Therapy and Research from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), including MDMAassisted therapy from the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS).
She has also completed training in Maharishi Ayurveda, East-West medicine, somatic
